AUSTIN, TX — This weekend, you won’t want to miss seeing some of Austin’s most inspired residential architecture as part of the 33rd Annual AIA Austin Homes Tour, featuring 12 of the most unique and breathtaking homes designed by AIA Austin Architect Members. For 33 years, the AIA Austin Homes Tour has drawn crowds curious to see exceptional design and admire the various styles of architecture, making it one of Austin’s most popular event’s of the year.

Attendees take the tour and meet architects responsible for each home’s design, as well as the builders and design professionals who lent their vision to create these incredible homes. The 2019 AIA Austin Homes Tour will feature projects designed by:

The tour is schedule for Saturday, Oct. 19 & Sunday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. To purchase tickets, click HERE. After tickets are purchased online, attendees are asked to bring digital or printed confirmation to any of the homes on the days of the Tour, or to the Center for Architecture at 801 W. 12th St., to receive a wristband that allows entry or access to the self-guided tour for both days and all 12 homes featured. Attendees may visit at their own pace or schedule during the hour of 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Tour Rules:Shoe Policy: No shoes or bare feet in the homes. Socks or shoe covers over bare feet must be worn. Shoe covers will be provided.No photographs are to be taken inside the Tour homes. Anyone taking photos on the property or in the Tour homes will risk surrender of their ticket.No smoking, food, or drinks allowed inside Tour homes.Do not open cabinets, closets, drawers, or refrigerators.Do not enter closets or rooms that have been closed or blocked.Do not block driveways or walk on lawns or landscaping.No animals allowed on the Tour, except for service animals.Public restrooms are not provided on the Tour, please plan accordingly.
